2018 – Artificial Intelligence ‘This AI Life’ .

Future Intelligence’s Second Conference on AI held at the IET London: Savoy Place on 3 October 2018 titled ‘This AI Life: Ensuring our AI future works for us’, the conference organised with the IET and Cooley. ‘This AI Life’ was an examination of the role that AI can play on the health and social care sector. It examines the benefits AI technology could bring to healthcare systems such as the UK’s National Health Service (NHS), but also the challenges that must be overcome in areas such as ethics, regulation and data handling.

Future Intelligence produced a report and video to support the conference.

Artificial Intelligence – Living and working in an AI world

May 24th, 2017 – Institution of Engineering Technology, 2 Savoy Place, London WC2R 0BL.

A one-day conference jointly organised between Cooley, the world’s largest Law firm, Future Intelligence and the Institution of Engineering Technology at the IET’s Thames-side HQ in Central London a stone’s throw from the Strand.

The conference examined the ramifications of the AI revolution and cuts through the hype to point out exactly where we are in AI development, the challenges that we face and what AI development could mean for society given that both Oxford University and the Bank of England are predicting that a third of all current jobs will be replaced by AI technology by 2024.

Peter Warren on Italian News Report ‘Special Surveillance’ on Rai3 discussing Data Mining and just how your information is being used in October 2014.

Future Intelligence’s report for Netopia ‘Can We Make the Digital World Ethical’ published 18/02/2014 was presented to the European Union. Peter Warren was subsequently invited to present the report to the French Senate in the Luxembourg Palace 04/04/2014 with Per Stromback of Netopia and Professor Murray Shanahan, the Chair of Cognitive Robotics at Imperial University.
